Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice on incident of killing of Assistant Commissioner Jhang Imran Jafer by firing of opponents in village Chak 237 of Langrana Chiniot police station and sought a report from RPO Faisalabad. IG Punjab directed DPO Chiniot to reach the spot and said that strict legal action should be taken against the accused as soon as possible. He directed that provision of justice should be ensured to the bereaved on priority basis.
