TAXILA: Police conducted a raid at a wedding function and held four persons for violation of the sound system act and using firecrackers on Sunday.
According to a police spokesman, Wah Saddar police while responding to a complaint raided the function and arrested Nisar, Mehrban and Yasir. The same police also arrested two alleged drug peddlers identified as Nawaz and Shahzad Hussain and recovered 1.30kg and 1.70kg charas from them. Separately, Wah Cantonment police arrested a liquor supplier and recovered 115 bottles of liquor from his possession.
