DIG Traffic Punjab Sohail Akhtar Sukhera takes action against corruption complaints.

According to the vision of Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, preferential steps are underway to improve public service delivery for citizens in Traffic Police Punjab. The process of accountability against corrupt officers and officials is continued.  DIG Traffic Punjab Sohail Akhtar Sukhera has issued orders for closing one head constable and three constables of Traffic Police Bahawalnagar to Traffic Headquarters Punjab Lahore on corruption charges. According to details, DLIMS Operator Head Constable Tehseen Alam, Deputy License Clerk Constable Muhammad Zahid, Deputy License Clerk Constable Muhammad Shafiq and Computer Operator Constable Muhammad Saif Al Naveed were among those who were closed. DIG Traffic Sohail Sukhera said that as per the orders of IG Punjab, the process of issuing licenses is being made completely transparent and easier for the citizens. He directed the vigilance teams of Traffic Headquarters Punjab To facilitate the issuance of licenses to the citizens and eliminate corruption. He directed the vigilance teams  to conduct surprise inspections in the licensing branches of different districts and send their inquiry reports and recommendations to  traffic headquarters so that departmental action may  be taken against officers and personnel violating laws and SOPs.
