Bahawalpur - Police on Wednesday busted an inter provincial drug smuggling gang and arrested an accused. More than 112 kilograms of charas worth millions of rupees was recovered. The entire network will be exposed after further investigation and all the facts related to it will be exposed. Further such operations will continue in future also, DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran said.
According to details, under the campaign Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani against drug dealers, police led by DPO Muhammad Faisal Kamran are continuing operations against large groups of drug smugglers. While conducting a major operation against the inter provincial drug smuggler Rizwan, the accused was arrested and a large consignment of drugs was recovered.
A vehicle used in drug supply was also seized, which also led to further interrogation. A case has been registered against the accused.
