Fatheh Mohammad was born in Mudhki, District Ferozpur (India) in 1902 and joined the Indian Police in 1924 at a Salary of Rs. 17 per month. His first boss was SSP J.Scott. After independence he moved to Pakistan and served as an orderly with Pakistan’s first Inspector General of Police Qurban Ali Khan for 18 years.
When retired in 5.11.1965 Fatheh Mohammad was serving as Head Constable in CIA, Okara.
Mirza Fatheh Mohammad is in good health and has got remarkable memory. He is presently residing in Chak 80 District Sahiwal. He has 3 sons and 2 daughters. One of his son is serving for Punjab Police as a constable. Fatheh Mohammad is proud of attended numerous public meetings graced by Qaid-e-Azam, Mahatma Ghandi, Subhash Chander Baosh and other leaders of repute.
IG Punjab Javed Iqbal praised the lifelong services of the old veteran and lauded his astonishing memory. He told the people like Fatheh Mohammad were real asset of the nation. He assured of all his support of the police department to whom Fatheh Mohammad has given the best years of his life.
