On the direction of IG Punjab, operations against anti-social elements continued in the province.

Dera Ghazi Khan Police arrested 42 fugitives and other accused in various crimes in the last 30 days.

In 54 cases of illegal arms, 10698 bullets including 04 Kalashnikovs, 59 pistols, 02 rifles, 02 mousers were recovered.

The dacoit and thief gangs were arrested and stolen goods worth Rs.26869100 have been handed over to real owners.

On the orders of Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani, in order to improve the process of protection of life and property of the people, expeditious operations are being carried out in all the districts of the province to improve the atmosphere of law and order. In this regard, Dera Ghazi Khan Police under the supervision of DPO Omar Saeed Malik is fighting against anti-social elements day and night and the notorious Ladi gang has been eliminated.  Eighteen police stations of District Police have arrested a total of 42 fugitives and other accused involved in various crimes during the last 30 days and recovered drugs and illegal weapons.  Regarding the details of police operations, DPO Omar Saeed Malik said that district police arrested dacoits and thieves and recovered stolen goods worth Rs 26869100.  In 54 cases of illegal arms, 10698 bullets including 04 Kalashnikovs, 59 pistols, 02 mousers, 02 rifles were recovered.  Regarding the ongoing drug eradication operations, the DPO said that police recovered 16.860 kg of hashish, 686 liters of liquor, 16 bottles and 3.500 kg of cannabis from the possession of the accused.  Besides, 07 cases of gambling were registered in the district and Rs. 124060 was recovered.  DPO Omar Saeed Malik further said that full scale operations against anti-social elements will remain continued. He further said that the district police is fully alert for the discharge of its duties and the people should consider the police as their protectors and helpers and also inform the concerned police immediately about the presence of any dubious individuals in the area. Inshallah, no sacrifice will be spared by using all available resources to protect the lives and property of the people.
