New Punjab IG assumes charge
The newly-appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Javed Iqbal on Friday assumed the charge of his new assignment.
Before his posting as IGP Punjab, he was working as Managing Director of National Police Foundation Islamabad.
Additional IG Punjab Ch Tanvir received him warmly at CPO on Friday.
A smartly turned-out contingent of police presented a salute to the IGP. Later, the IGP met his staff officers.
