IG Punjab Inam Ghani issued a special message to the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
This year, the Pakistani nation is engulfed in the Corona epidemic with the world alongwith happinesses of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Citizens should be confined to their homes on Eid-ul-Fitr to protect themselves, their children and the elderly from corona.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Government of Punjab have also requested the citizens to be confined to their homes.

In his special message to the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani said that on Eid-ul-Fitr, citizens should be confined to their homes to protect themselves, their children and elders from corona. Congratulating the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, he added that the Pakistani nation is in the grip of Corona epidemic with the world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr this year therefore, the citizens should confine themselves, their children and elders to their homes. Congratulating Eid ul Fitr to the citizens, He further said ,Pakistani nation is engulfed in corona virus alongwith other world and it is requested to all citizens to show responsibility both individually and collectively. He further added that Punjab Police will continue to perform its duties in the streets and high ways for the protection of life and property of the citizens, therefore the citizens should also ensure all possible cooperation with the police teams to curb the spread of Corona epidemic. He added that , Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Punjab government have also requested the citizens to be confined to their homes as only with these joint efforts and responsible attitude we can together limit the spread of Corona. He further said that we should not forget our brave martyrs and conquerors (Ghazis) on the occasion of happiness so Punjab Police would continue to take all possible steps to include its martyrs and conquerors (Ghazis)in the joys of Eid. He further said that ,Take care of the deserving and poor citizens around you so that they too can join in the joys of Eid. At the end of his message, the IG Punjab also congratulated the entire nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on behalf of the Punjab Police officers and officials.
