This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Javed Iqbal while addressing to 13 trainee ASsP including one female at the districts attachment ceremony held at Police Headquarters, Punjab here today.
While addressing the trainees the IGP hoped the new ASsP should focus their attention in combating terrorism and curbing crimes by establishing friendly terms between the police and the Public. Thana Culture has a pivotal role in the police system but the trainees should not misuse of their powers, he added.
The IGP further maintained that the Government is paying a special attention towards organizing police force on modern lines, under which it was being equipped with latest technology and training for ensuring complete protection of the people’s lives and property. He advised the ASsP to ensure the easy access of the people to the police officers at every level to that the quick redressed of the people grievance being curtailed.

Mr. Shabbir Ahmed Sethar is attached to District R.Y Khan, Ms. Riffat Haider Bokhari to Lahore, Mr. Tariq Illahi Mastoi to Faisalabad, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal to Sargodha, Mr. Haroon Rashid Khan to Lahore, Mr. Adil Memon to Gujranwala, Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Ahmed Khan to Okara, Mr. Muhammad Jawad Tariq to T.T Singh, Mr. Asif Ahmed Bughio to Multan, Mr. Muhammad Arif Aslam to Kasur, Malik Jameel Zaffar to Gujrat, Capt. Bilal Iftikhar to Ralwalpindi and Mr. Irfan Tariq is attached to District Jhelum.
