Under the direction of IG Punjab Inam Ghani, the fastest operations against anti-social elements continue across the province.

Kasur police arrested 673 accused including 9 dacoit gangs through intelligence based operations and full counter operations.

193 cases of illegal arms registered.  02 Kalashnikovs, 18 rifles, 18 guns, 152 pistols, 03 carbines, 20 magazines recovered.

Millions worth of stolen goods, cash, motorcycles, cattle and other goods were recovered and handed over to the rightful owners.

On the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani, the crackdown on anti-social elements across the province has been continued uninterruptedly and crackdown on proclaimed offenders, illegal arms holders and drug dealers has been intensified.  In this regard, Kasur police under the leadership of DPO Imran Kishwar took emergency measures for the arrest of anti-social elements during the last month, which has significantly reduced the rate of serious crimes in the district.  DPO Kasur Imran Kishwar said that the police teams are not only active in enforcing the government directives regarding Corona but also the process of rooting out the culprits is underway.  According to details, police have nabbed 09 gangs involved in various serious incidents of robbery and dacoity and arrested 29 most dangerous accused from whose possession more than 3 million worth of stolen property, modern illegal weapons and a large number of bullets and ammunition were recovered and due to arrest of gangs around 35 heinous cases have been traced out. During the month, a total of 673 accused were arrested and millions of rupees worth of stolen property, modern illicit arms and drugs were recovered. Police arrested notorious criminals to reduce the crime rate.  Special attention was paid to the seizure of drugs and counter-narcotics, as a result of which 170 proclaimed offenders were arrested who were wanted by the police in murder, attempted murder, robbery, burglary, theft and other cases which also Included top ten and top twenty criminals, likewise 85 court absconders were also detained. Kasur police registered 193 cases during a special operation to eradicate illegal weapons and recovered 02 Kalashnikovs, 18 rifles, 18 rifles, 18 guns, 152 pistols, 03 carbines, 20 magazines and a large quantity of ammunition from the possession of the accused.  Similarly, during the operation against drug dealers, 179 cases were registered and 110 kg of hashish, 2588 liters of liquor, 190 liters of lahan and 07 working wine manufacturing kilns were also recovered from the possession of the accused. Likewise, in action against gamblers, 11 notorious gambling spots have been raided and 44 accused have been arrested and also gambling amount of one lac rupees has also been recovered.  DPO Kasur Imran Kishwar while instructing all circle officers and SHOs to continue full-fledged operations against criminals said that according to the vision of IG Punjab Inam Ghani, making police a friend and helper of the people in accordance with Citizen Centric Policing is the top priority of Kasur Police. Therefore, all possible steps should be taken to provide immediate justice to the citizens while zero tolerance policy on corruption and misuse of power shall be continued.
