Kasur Police Continue Operations Against Anti-Social and Criminal Elements

LAHORE: At the direction of District Police Officer, Kasur, Imran Kishwar, in all the tehsils of Kasur District, swift action is being taken against criminal and anti-social elements and those possessing illegal weapons with the aim of protecting the lives and property of the people and the rule of law in the society. 

In this connection, in Chunian Circle, teams of Changa Manga and Allahabad police stations conducted separate operations and arrested three accused Najamul Hassan, Ehtesham and Afzal Munir for displaying weapons on Tik Tok. Two 30 bore pistols and 10 bullets were recovered from the possession of accused Ehtesham, pump action and several rounds were recovered from the possession of Najamul Hassan while 30 bore pistols were recovered from Afzal Munir.

The accused used to display weapons on tick tok videos and on social media upon which further action is being taken by registering cases under the relevant provisions.

SDPO Chunnian Circle Ghulam Dastgir Khan further said that in the ongoing campaign against illegal arms, Kanganpur police arrested two more accused Shahbaz and Pervez, Chunian police arrested accused Sakhi and Changamanga police arrested accused Iqbal. Four 30 bore pistols and several bullets were recovered from the possession of the accused.

City Chunnian police team arrested a fourmember motorcycle thief and recovered stolen goods worth Rs 500,000 from their possession, including five motorcycles, five mobile phones and two 30-bore pistols. The accused include Bakhshu, Haris, Ali Jutt and Haseeb alias Jani. In an operation against drug trafficking, Allahabad police seized 1100 grams of cannabis from the possession of a drug dealer named Ismail alias Iqbal and arrested him. The arrested persons were booked under relevant provisions and further legal action was taken against them. Ghulam Dastgir Khan, SDPO, Chunian Circle, added that last week, Allahabad police recovered five minors abducted a month ago through modern interrogation and handed them over to their families, while daily cracking down on criminal elements is going on daily basis.
