‘Solve martyres’ families problems’
LAHORE–Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Aslam Tareen has issued special instructions to the officials of CCPO Office to immediately redress the problems being faced by the heirs to martyred policemen on priority basis.
According to a police spokesman, the CCPO issued these instructions in order to help out the heirs of martyred policemen so that they would not face any difficulty in getting their legitimate dues. Furthermore, CCPO has written separate letters to the heirs of the 240 martyred police officials of Lahore Police requesting them that, if they face any difficulty with regard to the payment of their dues they should contact him in this regard at the earliest.
The CCPO pointed out that the martyred police officer laid down their lives while protecting life and property of the citizens for which, not only the nation but the Police Department itself feels great pride. Muhammad Aslam Tareen said that a number of facilities have been extended to the heirs of the martyred police officials by the Police Department and the Punjab government, which include: provision of financial assistance, group insurance, grant for martyred, monthly pay, educational expenditures of children of martyrs, marriage grant and induction of children or brother of martyrs in police department.
The CCPO said that the Police department is fully geared to solve the problems faced by the heirs of martyred police officials on top priority basis.
