243 drug pushers held
LAHORE - MUJAHID Squad police, on directions of Capital City Police Office (CCPO) to make the provincial capital a ‘drug-free city, have arrested 243 drug pushers during the last month and seized charas, heroine and liquor worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
According to a handout issued here on Monday, Mujahid Squad has arrested 243 drug peddlers and registered 239 cases against them in various police stations. Mujahid Squad officials seized 505 bottles of liquor, 21 kg charas and two kg heroine worth hundred of thousands of rupees.
Mujahid Squad SP Muntazir Mehdi has directed all the patrolling officers to take stern action against drug pushers to make provincial capital a drugs-free city. He also directed them to take immediate action on Rescue 15 emergency calls.
