Two gangs smashed
LAHORE-CIA Police City Division on Friday claimed to have arrested 10 alleged bandits of two different dacoit gangs including their ringleaders and recovered looted money, two motorcycles, 10 cell phones, three pistols and bullets from them.
According to a police spokesman, the arrested robbers have confessed to 35 cases of dacoity, robbery and street crimes during preliminary interrogation. The police said that the ringleaders of both the gangs identified as Waseem alias Bhyia dacoit gang and saleem Oadh dacoit gang have also been arrested. Further investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, CIA on Friday claimed to have arrested 17 drug peddlers and recovered one and a half kilogramme hashish, 200 gram heroin and 68 bottles of liquor form their possession. The police have also registered 15 cases in different police stations of the City against the accused.
According to the police spokesman, SP CIA constituted special teams for a crackdown on drug pushers. The police collected information about the criminals, raided different areas of the City and arrested the drug-pushers.
The arrested were identified as Zaeem, Bilal, Asif, Nadeem, Abdul Jabbar, Qasim Masih, Zahoor Ahmad, Hanif, Ahmad Ali, Sanaullah, Imran, Sabir Masih, Ashraf, Ghulam Mustafa, Bilal, Shahbaz and Umer.
The arrested were identified as Zaeem, Bilal, Asif, Nadeem, Abdul Jabbar, Qasim Masih, Zahoor Ahmad, Hanif, Ahmad Ali, Sanaullah, Imran, Sabir Masih, Ashraf, Ghulam Mustafa, Bilal, Shahbaz and Umer.
