IG Punjab inaugurated an exhibition of awareness based art works on traffic rules and environmental protection.
IG Punjab also distributed certificates of appreciation and prizes to the winning students in the painting competition.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani has said that holding a painting exhibition on environmental pollution and traffic rules while maintaining awareness among the citizens about observance of traffic rules and environmental pollution is a good initiative by which the most important messages reach the minds of viewers, which will further strengthen the ongoing efforts to reduce traffic accidents and environmental pollution. He further said that Lahore Police is paying special attention to the educational campaign with effective use of modern technology to improve the traffic management and the exhibition at Al-Hamra Art Gallery reflects this constructive thinking and reality. He further said that the charming works of art displayed in the exhibition convey a unique and positive message of creative thinking which has not only provided a suitable platform for the young students to express their talent but also to create beautiful colors and designs and these artifacts have become a source of awareness among the citizens. Appreciating the artifacts and art pieces, IG Punjab further said that although the educational institutions are closed due to corona, the full participation of students is the result of best efforts and effective incentives of Traffic Police Lahore. He expressed these views while talking to media persons after inaugurating a three-day exhibition on road safety and environmental protection at Al-Hamra Art Gallery here today.
A total of 67 students participated in the exhibition titled "Traffic Law Enforcement and Environmental Protection", out of which IG Punjab also presented certificates of appreciation and prizes to those who secured prominent positions. Speaking on the occasion, CTO Lahore Syed Hamad Abid said that all the young artists have done a splendid job by embellishing their works on the most important topics while the City Traffic Police has been organizing such programs and events to create awareness about traffic rules and such exhibitions lead to improvement in public awareness for observance of traffic laws and environmental protection. The exhibition was attended by CCPO Lahore Omar Sheikh, DIG Traffic Punjab Imran Mehboob and Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai and other officers and personalities were also present.
