TAXILA: Wah Cantonment police on Tuesday arrested three suspects over the gang-rape of a 13-year-old girl in Bhabra.
The victim’s father alleged that his daughter was gang-raped by five persons after they offered her a lift. Sub-Divisional Police Officer DSP Syed Tahir Kazmi said three suspects have been taken into custody.
A hunt has been launched to arrest the remaining suspects who are the run. On the other hand, Punjab police’s chief Inam Ghani has sought a detailed report from Rawalpindi RPO about the case.
He has ordered strict action against those responsible and directed for provision of timely justice to the victim.
