LAHORE:Nawan Kot police claimed to have arrested the suspected robber involved in injuring a citizen over offering resistance during robbery few days back. The arrested suspect was identified as Asif. Police said the suspect, a few days back, carried out a robbery with his accomplice Shan. During the robbery bid to snatch valuables, a citizen named Fahad Khan had offered resistance and opened fire. In an exchange of fire, suspect Shan and Fahad Khan suffered bullet wounds. Shan succumbed to his injuries and died while Fahad was admitted to a hospital for treatment. The suspect Asif, however, managed to flee from the scene. Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested him.
