Two murder suspects held
SIALKOT, April 1: The Motra police have arrested two suspects involved in the murder of a retired army major three months ago.
DPO Bilal Siddique Kamiyana told reporters that a team led by Motra SHO Inspector Rana Zulfiqar Ahmad arrested Irfan, alias Bobi, from Karachi and Mohsin Khan from Faisalabad.
The suspects along with their accomplices allegedly gunned down the ex-serviceman, Muhammad Saleem, over old enmity in Pandoriyann Village on Dec 26, 2010. However, their accomplices are yet to be arrested.
Meanwhile, the Motra police also arrested Tanseer, alias Baggu Shah, a proclaimed offender (PO), from Lahore.
On a tip-off, the police raided a locality in Lahore and arrested Tanseer who is wanted by Daska, Motra and Sambrial in 18 cases of kidnapping, dacoity, robbery and theft.
