BAHAWALPUR: The Nowshehra Jadid police on Monday arrested a man who allegedly staged the abduction drama of his 12-year old son to implicate his opponents in the fake case.
According to police, Muhammad Jamil of village Mandhal registered a complaint that his minor son, Altaf, had been kidnapped by his relatives Jamil, Aziz, Zahooran, the wife of Ashiq, and others.
After registration of the case, the police launched an investigation into the case. During the investigation, they came to know that the complainant was spotted with his son on a motorcycle after registration of the case.
The police managed to recover the boy and arrested his father for the fake case. The suspect admitted to registering a fake case to take revenge from his opponents over enmity.
