LAHORE, July 11: The Shadbagh police claimed on Friday to have arrested 135 criminals during the last 10 days in a crackdown.
According to a spokesman, SSP Operations Shafiq Ahmad directed the city division police to launch a crackdown on hardened criminals, drug-pushers and those keeping illegal weapons.
During the last 10 days, the police arrested 135 hardened criminals, drug-pushers and the people involved in possessing illegal weapons.
Headed by SP City Rana Ahmad Hasan, the police team recovered 10kg hashish, 23 mousers and pistols, 186 bottles of liquor and scores of bullets from them.
The SSP announced cash and commendatory certificates for the raiding team.
