As per directions of IG Punjab crackdown against criminals and anti social elements is continued.

As per directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastagir, for maintaining protection of wealth and lives of people and supremacy of law, crackdown against criminals and anti social elements in all districts of the province is continued on and in this regard Lodhran police under supervision of district police officer Syed Karar Hussain achieved landmark success after clutching the necks of criminals during current month. According to the details, under supervision of District police  officer Lodhran Syed Karar Hussain, police teams under national plan wreaked havoc on criminals and during month of May arrested 169 accused alongwith 449 proclaimed offenders. From arrested accused huge amount of weapons and drugs have been recovered In which 06 Klashinkove, 02 rifles, 02 guns, 37 pistols,06 repeater,  01 mouser and  bullets of different bites have been recovered from the accused and cases have been registered against them. Whereas holding a strict crackdown against drugs dealers, District Lodhran police seized  30 kilo 536 gram chars, 130 gram heroin and 5259  litre alcohol and 1999 liter lehn with  25  working alcohol manufacturing kilns have been recovered from the accused. In a crackdown against gambling and gamblers hefty amoumt of money have been recovered form 72 gamblers. Lodhran police during the current month traced 07 gangs and arrested 18 gang members and recovered theft amount of around 24 lac 63 thousand and handed on this money to real owners. Following the implementation of laws under national action plan, cases have been registered against flawed security arrangements and violation of loudspeaker  act,according to DPO Syed Karar Hussain Lodhran police is honestly offering its duties and  ensuring equal implementation of law and protection of lives and wealth of people and no stone shall turned unleft for protection of lives and wealth of public and officers and officials of Lodhran police shall be performing their duties without caring their lives whereas all available resources shall also be utilized. IG Punjab emphasized that crackdown against criminals should be speeded up and especially inspection and monitoring of security plan of sensitive places should be continued whereas officials should be fully briefed about sensitivity of their duties and challenges so that they may perform their duties diligently.
