In transport branch, paperless project of Leave and Dak Management System has been launched.

As per directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir, the process of improving of overall working of police system in accordance with the parameters based upon modern technology of the current age is continued on and in this regard, in transport section of the Punjab Police, leaves system and dak system have been made effective by modern based technology and new project known as leave and dak management system has been started in this regard by which with the mutual cooperation of safe city authority and MT section, project of making paperless system of dak and leaves have been initiated. SSP MT Asad Sarfraz while sharing the details of this modern project told that, concept of improvement in policing and service delivery is not possible without effective use of modern technology in this current age therefore, with this respect, transport section is being improved and in its first phase, with the mutual cooperation of safe city authority, 10 officials from MT have been conducted training course after which, formal working of this project has been started. On this occasion, Asad Sarfraz said that, rest of the sections of the MT shall also be incorporated with computerized system step by step whereas with this system of leave and Dak Management System, complaints of Police Officials regarding hurdles in taking of leaves shall be ended.
