Session of Departmental promotion board from inspectors to ranks of DSP was held at Central Police Office today.
Promotion of 88 well reputed and having good professional record and completing all required courses has been approved to the ranks of DSP
As per directions of IGP Punjab Shoaib Dastgir process of promotion of Police officers and officials in accordance with the merit and seniority is continued at every level speedily so that officers and officials may perform their duties with more spirit and commitment and diligence. In this regard, Departmental Promotion board wad held at Central Police Office in which 438 cases of Inspectors deputed across the province came under consideration for their promotion to the ranks of DSP.
In the session, 88 inspectors of well repute, good professional record and having completed their courses have been promoted to the ranks of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) with formal approval. During the session of promotion board, seniority list of Inspectors have also been considered. This session was chaired by Addl IG Establishment BA Nasir in which DIG Headquarters Syed Khurram Ali and DIG Establishment Ashfaq Ahmad Khan were also present.
