As per orders of IG Punjab, notification has been issued regarding submission of relief fund for Corona virus affected persons.

District, regional and unit chiefs have been directed to collect the fund in accordance with the devised procedure and submit detailed reports to CPO till 30th March.

As per directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastagir instructions have been issued regarding submission of donations from pay of officers and officials of Punjab police for helping Corona virus affected persons and In this regard, notification has been issued carrying the orders of submission of donations from all force by which from constable to DIG level officers will voluntarily contribute to police relief fund.
According to the details as per directions of IGP Punjab, DIG welfare Sharik Kamal keeping in view of lockdown due to Corona virus has established police relief fund Corona virus in which all officers and officials of Punjab police will voluntarily contribute. By the help of this fund, ration and commodities shall be distributed among the needy persons during the lock down so that the difficulties of citizens due to virus may be reduced and deficiency of basic commodities may be overcome. Likewise, in this Police relief funds Corona virus, DIG level officer submit 3 thousand rupees, whereas SP and SSP will submit 2 thousand rupees and DSP will submit 1500 rupees, inspectors will submit 1000 rupees, Sub inspector 900 rupees, ASIs 800 rupees, Head Constables 700 and Conatables 500 rupees. All heads of unit will submit the money to this fund through district chief of Police and DPO with the help of concerned RPos will submit their fund in  welfare branch of  Central police office till 30.03.2020.
District head of Police will buy the commodities with the cooperation of DC and  will distribute ration among masses. After distribution of ration, district heads of Police will submit the reports to welfare branch of central police office. The instruction issued by notification of DIG Welfare shall be implemented and reports in this regard shall be submitted.
