A session regarding departmental promotion of traffic wardens was held at central police office today. In the session, departmental promotion of 86 wardens to senior traffic wardens have been approved.

A session regarding departmental promotion of traffic wardens was held at central police office today. In the session, departmental promotion of 86 wardens to senior traffic wardens have been approved.

As per orders of Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastagir the process of promotion of officers and officials of Police based on merit and seniority is continued so that they may perform their duties with more zeal and commitment. Likewise, a plenary session for promotion of traffic wardens was held at central police office today in which wardens of five ranges of the province have been promoted to the rank of senior traffic wardens.
 
According to the details, session was promotion was chaired by Addl IG establishment and cases of traffic wardens serving in different districts. In the end of the session, promotion of 86 wardens to the rank of senior traffic wardens have been approved. Among the promoted traffic wardens, 41 are from District Lahore, 22 are from Faisalabad, 4 are from Gujranwala, 12 are from Multan whereas 7 wardens are from Rawalpindi region. The said  wardens have been formally  promoted from grade 14 to grade 16 as senior traffic wardens.
