IGP, Punjab said that Punjab Police is ensuring full fledged security regarding Quarantine centers and health centers established across the province for Corona virus

Inspector General Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir said that Punjab Police is ensuring full fledged security regarding Quarantine centers and health centers established across the province for Corona virus and in this regard civil administration is being fully supported. He said that Police Officers and Officials have been strictly directed to take stern preventive measures of Corona virus so that Police Force may be protected from this virus. These views were expressed by him when paid a visit to inspect Quarantine center industrial state at Multan previous day. On this occasion RPO Multan Waseem Ahmad Khan briefed Inspector General about Law and Order and security arrangements in this regard.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir said that protection of Police in such circumstances is our top priority so that force with the help of their fitness and health may serve public and protect their lives and properties in such crucial time. He issued directions to RPO that all police officials deputed over public places should be provided with masks and hand gloves in case of any positive result of Corona in any police officers or official, he should be given complete treatment. On this occasion, RPO Waseem Ahmad Khan said that Multan Police is fully in coordination with other civil administration departments and steps against Corona are being taken with mutual cooperation. On this occasion, Inspector General Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir expressed contentment over performance of Multan Police.
