KASUR: Tiktok seems to have landed another local youth in hot water.
Saddar police on Wednesday arrested Shaharyar alias Sunny for uploading a video of himself on Tiktok where he is seen firing in the air with his unlicenced pistol in Gulberg Colony.
As the video went viral on social media, some private TV channels aired it too. Consequently, Saddar police was alerted that arrested the youth. Police were looking into the matter. Previously, the administration had taken serious notice of two incidents in which social media users had used the premises of a public hospital to record videos. Police also lodged criminal cases against the suspects.
BODY FOUND: Raja Jang police on Wednesday recovered the body of a woman from her house in village Matta.
A 25-year-old woman was found dead in a room of her house under mysterious circumstances. Police shifted her body to DHQ hospital and started an investigation.
In another incident, a labourer died after falling from the elevator in a factory in village Chhena Chak 65. Police shifted the body to THQ hospital and were looking into the matter.
