LAHORE: The Nishtar Colony police on Tuesday arrested a woman after she allegedly slapped a polio worker and hurled threats at her.

Police said Rubaz Bibi and Nazia Bibi were administering polio drops to the children in Union Council 163 during a door-to-door campaign. A woman, Zoya, refused polio drops to her children and on insistence, she slapped Rubaz and thrashed her, police said, adding that the polio team called police who took the woman to the police station.

After inquiry, police registered a case against the woman.
