According to details, the said DSP failed to arrest the hardened criminals in his area on which two show cause notices were issued to him in different cases. The show causes notices and reply thereto submitted by the DSP were sent to RPO Faisalabad for his views/comments who intimated that DSP was responsible to plan raids upon criminals but he failed to do so.
The DSP appeared in the orderly room of IGP and was heard in person. DSP was given full opportunity to prove his innocence but he had nothing plausible to state except lame excuse. So, the IGP find him guilty and awarded him minor punishments of stoppage of increment for five years and censure.
