MUZAFFARGARH: Police claim to have solved the blind murder case of a property dealer who was kidnapped a few days ago and a case was registered against unidentified culprits.
The family of the deceased had approached District Police Officer Sadiq Ali Dogar who constituted a team under Kot Addu Deputy Superintendent of Police Ejaz Bukhari to investigate the murder of Muhammad Ramzan, a property dealer in Chowk Sarwar Shaheed area, 50 kilometres from the city area.
Police had arrested Ramzan’s friend, Muhammad Saqib, over suspicions and during interrogation he confessed to his crime. He narrated that the two were involved in a monetary dispute, and he had murdered Ramzan along with a friend.
They had decapitated him, thrown his body into a canal and buried the head in a forest.
On Wednesday, police recovered both the head and body of Ramzan and registered a case against the suspects at the Chowk Sarwar Shaheed police station.
