To expedite the investigation geo-fencing, and information from special branch and other agencies should also be used.

To identify the culprits DNA test process of the suspicious persons must be completed at earliest: IG Punjab

Inspector General Police Punjab Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan said that I am reviewing the progress on daily basis about the murder of innocent children in Chunian, Kasur. The operation to arrest the murderers is being further expedited utilizing all available resources and the latest technology. He further said that the scientific method of investigation is adopted and under suspicion individuals, DNA and other forensic test are underway. He expressed these views while giving directions to the officers during his visit to Chunian, Kasur.

At this occasion JIT and CTD teams briefed IG Punjab, on which he directed the teams to further speed up the investigation process ensuring punishments to the culprits involved in child violence and rape on the basis of zero-tolerance policy, daily progress report of the case must also be sent to the Central Police Office, he further added. He also directed to complete the process of DNA tests of the persons arrested under suspicion along with using modern investigation techniques, latest technology, geo-fencing and information and cooperation from special Branch and other agencies.
