Inspector General Police Punjab Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan ordered a security high alert for all sensitive places and worship places after a blast in a mosque in kuchlak area of Quetta. CCPO Lahore, all RPO,s CPO,s and DPO,s were directed in wireless message by IG Punjab to visit the field and review security arrangements of sensitive and important places and also search sweep and combing operations should be increased in the vicinity of sensitive places and worship places. IG Punjab also directed to increase the patrolling hours of Patrolling forces including Dolphin and PERU and directed to further increase the security at inter provincial and inter district check posts.
