Condolence reference held at central police office

Inspector General of Police Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan said that police officers are like a family and their grief and happiness are equally shared by all. IGP said that when one individual of a family dies its grief is felt by all family because these officers not only lead their professional life side by side but also keep connected in ups and downs of life. He further said that retired officers who have completed their service with full Hard work, dutifulness and honesty are precious asset of Police department. These views were expressed by IGP in a condolence reference held at central police office. This condolence reference was marked in the memory of those police officers who died during lat two years in which families of the deceased officers except retired police officers were also present.

During the reference, collectively 09 police officers namely Mian Abdul Qayum, Javed Qayum Khan, Nasrullah khan, Mirza Muhammad Yaseen, Ch. Qamar ul Zaman, Lonsdale Nibllet, Major retired Mubashir Ullah, Kamran Yusuf and Farkhanda Iqbal were paid homage in return of their services. Families and friends of officers also expressed their views on this occasion. In the reference, vice president of former IGs organization AFIGP Khawja Khalid Farooq while expressing said that the initiative by IGP Punjab Captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan to mark the condolence reference in the memory of deceased police officers is a plausible step because those officers have devoted precious months of other lives for police service and therefore their services should be acknowledged at every level. All Additional IGs, DIGs and other many officers were present during the reference at central police office whereas Fateh Khawani was conducted for higher ranks of the deceased officers.
