In order to review the security arrangements for the visiting national cricket team of Kenya during their visit to Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera and Home Secretary Punjab, Maj. (R) Azam Suleman visited Gaddafi Stadium, today.
CCPO Lahore, Muhammad Amin Wains, DIG Operations Lahore, Dr. Haider Ashraf, CTO Lahore, Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, SP Model Town Lahore, Muhammad Bakir Raza and D.G Sports, Usman Anwar were also present.
IGP directed the CCPO Lahore to ensure the foolproof security arrangements of the guest and the host teams. He also directed the CTO Lahore to adopt the strategy of smooth traffic flow during the matches. He further directed the Lahore police to enhance the patrolling around the Gaddafi Stadium and to install the walk through gates and ensure the search of the visitors at all entry and exit points of the venue.
