A number of accused including 41 heinous proclaimed offenders have been arrested during last two weeks in Pakpattan , hefty amount of drugs and illegal weapons have been recovered.
As per directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan crackdown against criminals and anti social elements of society along with security high alert is continued in Pakpattan speedily like all Punjab. Legal actions are being taken after arrest of proclaimed offenders and drugs peddlers. Likewise, Pakpattan police under leadership of district police officer Ibadat Nisar is achieving its targets. According to the details 41 dangerous proclaimed offenders have been arrested during two weeks. Among these arrested proclaimed offenders 15 are of A category whereas 26 proclaimed offenders are of B category. 43 cases have been registered against drugs peddlers along with arresting 43 accused and recovering 16.318 kilo gram chars, 559 liter alcohol, 5 working breweries . 39 cases have been registered against illegal possession of weapons including , 03 carbeen, 30 bore 26 pistols , 01 rifle, 123 cartridges and bullets. Collectively 39 accused have been arrested in this regard.in addition to it Ramzan alias Jani purse snatcher involved 17 cases of purse snatching gang has been arrested with four accomplices and amount 740700 has been recovered form them. On this occasion DPO Pakpattan Ibadat Nisar said that all resources are being utilized to purge the district from crimes in order to ensure protection of lives and properties of people.
DPO Pakpattan said that as per vision of IG Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan the search operations and checking in all district is going on in accordance with the already set SOP and stern campaign against criminals and anti social elements of society is going on speedily to ensure law and order in the district.
He further said that police have a wide cooperation of citizens in this operation due to which better results are being achieved and soon Pakpattan police will be successful to maintain more peacful environment in the district.
