105 accused including 62 heinous proclaimed offenders have been arrested during last two weeks in Dera Ghazi Khan, hefty amount of drugs and illegal weapons have been recovered.

As per directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan crackdown against criminals and anti social elements of society along with security high alert is continued in DG Khan with speed like all Punjab. Legal actions are being taken after arrest of proclaimed offenders and drugs peddlers. Likewise, DG Khan Police under leadership of district police officer Atif Nazeer is achieving its targets. According to the details 105 accused including 62 dangerous proclaimed offenders have been arrested in this regard. Among these arrested proclaimed offenders 13 are of A category whereas 49 proclaimed offenders are of B category. 20 cases have been registered against drug peddlers along with arresting 20 accused and recovering 2731 gram  chars, 240 gram heroin, 09 bottles of wine, 211 liter alcohol. 23 cases have been registered against illegal possession of weapons including 4 twelve bore guns , 04 carbeen, 30  bore 20 pistols  , 02 mowzers and many bullets. Collectively 23 accused have been arrested in this regard. On this occasion DPO DG Khan Atif Nazeer said that all resources are being utilized to purge the district from crimes in order to ensure protection of lives and properties of people.

DPO DG Khan said that as per vision of IG Punjab captain retired Arif Nawaz Khan the search operations and checking in all district is going on in accordance with the already set SOP and stern campaign against criminals and anti social elements of society is going on speedily to ensure law and order in the district. As per orders of worthy IG Punjab, teams have been constituted during Ramzan against drug pushers and I myself is monitoring the Ramzan security and also campaigns of these teams and it is being ensured that law abiding citizens may avoid any trouble during the operation.
