In order to settle down the official / personal problems and other reservations being faced by the police officers, officials and other staff, the established IGP Complaint Cell for the purpose has started working.
This cell is headed by IG Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera while, Addl: IGP R&D, Altaf Hussain, DIG R&D, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar and Deputy Director R&D, SSP Kashif Mushtaq Kanju also included in the cell. The timings of the cell are 09:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. All officers / officials and other staff can directly approach IGP personally or through mail.
Only during last one week the cell resolved more than 100 complaints received by officers / officials pertaining to their problems like transfer, seniority, official leaves and various pressures which they faced during their official duties.
It may be recalled that IGP decided to set this complaint cell with the spirit to boost up the morale of the force and enabling them to perform their duties with more confidence and determination.
