LAHORE: The 158-year-old building of the Anarkali police station has been restored to its original shape, says an official announcement.
IG Amjad Javed Saleemi participated in the inaugural ceremony here on Tuesday night. The IG said the process of restoring historic buildings of police stations was under way. The Old Anarkali police station was established in 1861. Its record is intact. Visitors’ book contains remarks of visiting British officers.
