Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera hosted a graceful farewell ceremony in honor of DIG Commandant Police College, Chung, Lahore, Ahmad Mubarik Ahmad on completion of his service. Addl: IGP Punjab, Naseem-uz-Zaman, Addl: IGP R&D Altaf Hussain, Addl: IGP Welfare and Finance, Sohail Khan, Addl: IGP PHP Javed Islam, Addl: IGP CTD Muhammad Tahir, CCPO Lahore, Muhammad Amin Wains, Addl: IGP Special Branch, Punajb, Dr. Arif Mushtaq, DIG Monitoring, Tariq Masood Yasin, DIG PHP, Salman Choudhary, DIG I&V, Azeem Khan Leghari, DIG Headquarters, Farooq Mazhar, DIG R&D, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, DIG Establishment, Nawaz Warriach, DIG Discipline, Azhar Hameed Khokhar, DIG SPU, Zafar Iqbal, and other officers of CPO Lahore, also attended the ceremony.
 
While speaking on this occasion, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera paid rich tribute to the meritorious services delivered by Ahmad Mubarik during his career. He said that Ahmad Mubarik raised the grace of police uniform by his outstanding performance as he always tried to serve for the welfare of the public and the force and this is the reason that he always be a beacon of light for the police force. He declared Ahmad Mubarik as a symbol of bravery, professionalism and honesty.
 
CCPO Lahore, Amin Wains and Addl: IGP CTD, Muhammad Tahir, the batch mates of Ahmad Mubarik also appreciated the dedicated and devoted services of the outgoing DIG. They also said that the independent decision making quality of Ahmad Mubarik made him different from others.
 
In his farewell address, Ahmad Mubarik declared Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera as his mentor. He further said that the performance of the police could be improved only through the better training. He also thanked to all his colleagues and offered his services for the police department even after his retirement.
 
Later, IG Punjab presented a farewell shield to Ahmad Mubarik.
 
Ahmad Mubarik belongs to district Sialkot and was born in 1954. He did his Master in English and also got a degree of L.L.B. He joined police department as ASP in 1988 and served in Lahore, Mardan, Bara, Peshawar and Mansehra during his ASP-ship. After getting promotion in 1994 as SP, he served in Abbotabad, Multan, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Sargodha and Narowal and also served as SSP in Faisalabad and Gujranwal respectively. In 2010, he was appointed as RPO D.G. Khan and also served as RPO Gujranwala in 2012.
