A big operation by CTD, a terrorist activity to explode gas pipeline was foiled. Two terrorists from proscribed organization were arrested.
According to the details CTD Bahawalpur conducted a successful intelligence based operation and arrested two terrorists namely Dost Muhammad alias Dosu and Ata Ullah of proscribed organization Baluchistan Republican Army .Two kilogram explosive material ,detonators, time devices and five hand grenades have been recovered from them.
The arrested terrorists revealed that destruction of main gas pipeline in Bahawalpur was their major target and they were funded by commander Baghi of Baluchistan Republican Army to fulfill this target who is in Afghanistan. The accused confessed that they were also involved in two previous such attacks in Rahim Yar Khan.
