Newly posted Additional IGP Operations Punjab Inam Ghanni along with DIG operations Punjab Captain R. Ata and AIG operations Punjab Malik Awais visited Operation Wing at Centeral Police Office Lahore today.
AIG operations Punjab briefed Additional IGP operations about working of operation branch, administrative structure, coordination with other districts and operational strategies in case of emergencies or any untoward situation.
Additional IGP not only met with all staff but also visited various sections of operations branch. During his visit, Additional IGP Punjab was briefed about the problems faced by officers of operations branch. He assured that as per directions of IG Punjab he would develop a better working relationship.
DPR police also briefed Additional IGP about media management and social media. Additional IGP operations assured that he would not only try his best for better coordination of police with media but also abridge the gulf between them. He further told that a mechanism is also being made to provide factual and timely news to media.
