IGP visited Police Station Old Anarkali to review the progress of renovation/construction work

Lahore 28 January: Inspector General Police Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi while visiting the old Anarkali Police Station directed to revive the building in its original condition and to complete the construction work on time.

It is worth mentioning here that IGP, sometimes back in a previous visit to this Police Station directed to renovate the historic building and provide facilities to staff. To review the progress of construction work of Barracks, Hawalat, washrooms and other newly constructed/renovated rooms, IGP visited again today. He directed to establish a Museum on first floor of the Police Station, removal of electric poles, and further beautification of green belt in front of Police Station.

On this occasion IGP was briefed that while renovating the historic building efforts are also being made to provide modern facilities to the staff. IGP was further briefed that the construction/renovation work is in its final phases and will be completed in next few days.
