IG Punjab Amjad javed Saleemi took notice of the incident; DPO submitted the report regarding the incident.
According to the report, the killed persons Ibraheem and Ifraheem were involved in many cases and came to district court Pakpattan for extension in their interim bail. The court granted extension in their bail and next hearing was scheduled on 09 February 2019. Both accused were present in chamber of their lawyer when ten to twelve persons laced with weapons came and opened fire on them. Resultantly, both accused Ibraheem and Ifraheem along with Munshi of the lawyer Yusuf died at the spot. The accused were involved in many crimes of murder, attempt to murder, theft, dacoity and illegal weapons. 35 cases were registered against Ibraheem and 30 cases were registered against Ifraheem in different police stations.
According to the report both accused were murdered due to previous enmity. Police have registered the case in this regard and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
