I present myself along with all officers for accountability regarding Model Town incident. All lives are equally important and valuable and in this behalf the loss is unforgettable. While taking notice of the incident an F.I.R No.510/14 has been lodged by the state in police station Faisal Town, Lahore u/s 353/324/302/148/149 PPC & 7ATA.

 

This was disclosed by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, while addressing an emergency press conference held at Central Police Office, Lahore, today. CCPO Lahore, Shafique Ahmad, DIG Operations, Lahore, Rana Abdul Jabbar and DIG Investigation Lahore, Zulfiqar Hameed were also present during the press conference.

 

Provincial Police Chief further told that a three member committee has been constituted under the supervision of Addl: IGP Punjab, Sarmad Saeed Khan. Whereas, DIG Telecommunication, Ali Aamir Malik and AIG Finance, Hussain Habib Imtiaz will be the member. CCPO Lahore, Shafique Ahmad briefed the media about the incident in detail.
