Chinese citizens security must be ensured: DIG SPU

LAHORE: Director Special Protection Unit(SPU), DIG Captain (retired) Mohammad Faisal Rana on Monday honoured the bravery of a security constable upon saving a Chinese citizen from a theft attempt. According to SPU spokesperson, a bandit attempted to snatch a mobile phone from a Chinese citizen form an open camp in Rahim Yar Khan when Moeen kashif, a security constable, who was perfoming security duty in the open camp intercepted the robbery attempt and nabbed the outlaws and handed over the bandits to the police.

On this act of valour the DIG awarded Moeen a cash prize and commendation certificate Class II. Director SPU DIG Mohammad Faisal Rana said that security of Chinese people would not be compromised at any cost and officers like Moeen are the real heroes who demonstrate bravery when it needed the most.
