LAHORE: Inspector General of Police (IGP) retired Capt Arif Nawaz Khan placed new rank badges over the shoulder of promoted officers at Central Police Office on Monday.
Those promoted officers are Additional IGs Amir Zulfiqar Khan (operations), Abu Bakar Khuda Buksh (investigation), BA Nasir (logistics), Shahid Hanif (elite force), Ali Amir Malik, Amjad Jawed Saleemi (PHP), Tariq Masood Yaseen (training, recruitment), Azhar Hameed Khokar (establishment), Muhammad Tahi (welfare and finance) and Shariq Kamal Siddiqi (IT), Deputy IG Waqar Abbasi, Gujranwala CPO Ishfaq Khan, DIGs Syed Khuram Ali Shah, Waqas Nazeer, Babar Bakhat Qureshi, Sajjad Hassan Manjh, Sohail Ahmed Sukhera, Shehzad Akbar, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, Muneer Masood Marth and Abdul Rab Chaudhary and Multan CPO Sarfraz Falki.
He said the officers should serve public by adopting merit system and seek best performance from their subordinates.
