LAHORE - SSP Investigation Ghulam Mubashir Mekan on Tuesday organized a training workshop at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh for investigation wing. ATC-1 Judge Sajjad Ahmad and ATC-III Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich were the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the workshop , ATC-1 Judge Sajjab Ahmad said that it was need of the hour to change the conventional investigation methods and adopt modern investigation techniques to overcome the crimes and criminals.
ATC-III Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich said that the role of investigation officer in criminal justice system was of high importance as timely action could ensure prompt justice. He added that the evidences and proofs should be collected through modern techniques.
Addressing on the occasion, the SSP Investigation said that such workshops would help providing awareness about criminal justice system, crime scene and various technical process.
He said the department would also organize such workshops in future to aware the investigators about latest methods of investigation.
