Police Crackdown Against Criminals Start

On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Captain(R) Arif Nawaz Khan a Crackdown against criminal and anti social groups have been set off across all districts of Punjab.
Vehari Police have arrested red-handedly drug mongers during an operation foiling the smuggling of more than two and half mounds drugs amounting to worth of seven million rupees.
DPO Vehari Umar Saeed Malik revealed that Police got information by clandestine sources about smuggling of huge amount of drugs, upon which, CIA In charge Rai Arif raided highway quarters and recovered 100 kg drugs among which 50kg Chars, 50 kg Opium worth seven million were confiscated.
The said raid was conducted under supervision of DSP organized crime Sajjad Ahmad Khan.
Police arrested alleged person Abbas alias Abbasi and registered FIR against him at the spot.
DPO Vehari Umar saeed Malik congratulated all team for a successful raid and also announced to distribute prizes and certificates to the team.
