Inspector General of Police Punjab Captain (r) Arif Nawaz Khan has said that the Punjab Police has never hesitated to protect the lives and property of citizens and to maintain law and order across the Punjab province.
He said that officers and jawans of Punjab police would have been performing their duty with dedication and honesty.
He appreciated the Lahore Investigation Wing for showing good performance by utilizing the modern technology. He assured that all facilities and resourced would be provided to the Lahore Investigation Wing to launch new projects.
CCPO Lahore Capt ® Muhammad Amin Wains informed the IGP regarding different projects launched in collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and ongoing advanced projects being run in CRO department.
IGP appreciated the efforts of both Operations and Investigations Wings in connection with geofencing, criminal record management system, mobile tracking system and finger prints matching system. DIG Investigation Lahore, Sultan Ahmad Ch, SSP Investigation, Ghulam Mubashar Maiken, SP CRO Imran yaqood, SP CIA Tariq Elahi Mastoi and all divisional SPs of Investigation wing were also present on the occasion.
