Under the instructions of the Punjab Government to make the recruitment of Constables procedure more transparent and on merit, the Inspector General of Police Punjab, Khan Baig has constituted recruitment boards in 14 districts of the province. These boards will be comprising of a DIG rank officer as chairman, DPO / CPO as Secretary and SP / SSP Rank Officer will be a Member.
According to details, in Lahore district, DIG Telecommunication Punjab, Dr. Arif Mshtaq will be the chairman whereas, SSP Admin, Lahore, Shehzad Akber Secretary and SP Headquarter Lahore, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, member.
